    What is Artificial Intelligence?

    Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a branch of computer scienceconcerned with making computers behave like humans.The term was coined in 1956 by John McCarthy at theMassachusetts Institute of Technology.

    With the original goal of AI to develop techniques whichsimulate human intelligence (i.e. reasoning process itself),its application in Education settings is to support

    interactions with the learner.
