Note: The prototype shown is a proof of concept prototype. As such we used transparent materials to better demonstrate how it works. A

commercial version will appear to look just like a non-descript battery back-up case. So only the user will know what it really is.

with a Smartphone, it has the ability to sync with both wearable vital sign monitors and/or with a full suite of telemedicine style

monitoring equipment. It can then produce real time correlated medication/vital sign data and distribute via WIFI or cell signal.

In doing so, InteMed brings medications into the digital environment. Among the many uses of this data, based on the direct

link InteMed can have with your doctor, they could make digital adjustments to the medication plan/prescription.

From simple MEDICATION LOGS to Correlated medication/vitals outcome data

Final Points

COST: Although InteMed is the only device that provides digital medication management by your healthcare professionals

and allows for real-time correlated medication/vitals data, those unique features are not reflected in the cost. The

reason is because the brunt of the required computing power is provided by the Smartphone we all carry around

daily. InteMed’s electronics only needs to include an interface to the phone and a low power micro controller for pill

dispensing. The Smart Cartridges can be designed for re-use or low enough in cost to throw away.
