Expand your study abroad experience by attendingour social and cultural programmes in and around theRhein-Main Hessen region.

We will take a city tour to Frankfurt, a nice weekend trip to Munich, and explore the history and best spots of Darmstadt. Many more exciting events will also be offered throughout the programme.

Intensive German Language CourseWilkommen in Deutschland!

Students will learn the basics of German speaking, writing, listening and communication skills. This course serves as a fi rst introduction to the German language and is also offered at different levels to stu-dents who have a previous background knowledge of German.

Duration, Costs and Credits

Start Date: June 30, 2019End Date: July 27, 2019Total Fee: €2,200(included: accommodation, course materials, company visits, social activities & excursions, public transportation ticket, insurances & student services). Travel and leisure expenses are not included.

German Engineering Courses

The various engineering courses offer students the oppor-tunity to gain an insight into aeronautical engineering, automotive engineering, production engineering and/ormechatronic engineering by combining lectures with inter-active workshops and group presentations.

Choice of courses

Students will have several opportunities during compa-ny visits to get fi rst hand experience within the fi eld of engineering. For this reason, students should have pre-vious knowledge in mechanical engineering or similar study areas.

We will visit places such as: Mercedes-Benz, Continental AG, Donges Steeltec and EUMETSAT (European Organ-isation for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites)..and many more!

Programme

The International Summer University is a unique four-week programme specially designed to provide insightinto the broad fi eld of cutting-edge German engineer-ing technology, to improve international language skills as well as to discover and learn more about the German culture. It combines engineering courses, company visits, intensive German language courses, intercultural training and social and cultural pro-grammes.

Intercultural Training CoursesThis seminar will train non-German students in in-tercultural skills to help successfully arrange them-selves within an intercultural working and learning environment in Germany. It will also introduce stu-dents to practical techniques, skills and knowledge surrounding themes of living, studying and working in Germany.
