• These events, like concerts, roasts, plays and performances help to raise huge funds

• Companies like Cognizant, TCS, SBI and Hyundai donated huge funds for relief in the Chennai floods.

• International stores like Walmart, Starbucks and even disney are known for donating huge sums to charity every year.

• There are also companies that donate a certain amount for a cause, for each fixed number of products sold.

• ITC funds many local NGO's in towns and villages that support the poor and make them self dependent. It claims to donate 1 re for every product sold.
