Day of Service– 80 students representing three Schools: SOM,
Nursing, and Public Health– Sites included:
• PROJECT HOPE (painting)• Hope Community Outreach Center (Health Screenings
and interior painting)• Cathedral Kitchen (screenings, blood pressures, health
education about diabetes, hypertension)• NJ Veteran Memorial Home (Nursing Home) (play Bingo,
bring residents from room, serve snacks) • Woodland Presbyterian Church (church clean up, painting,
conduct anti-violence workshop)• Cumberland County Juvenile Detention Center

• Push by students to reinstitute Interprofesional Grand Rounds
• Due to intensity of planning and implementation: two programs will be offered each academic year for the next two academic years, for a total of four
• Stratford Campus Day of Service will continue to be offered on the National Day of Service
