Jawab.
Jika dibandingkan dengan data Sw SCAL, metode yang paling baik adalah Dual Water, karena hasil perhitungan Sw log dengan hasil Sw SCAL mendekati sama.

3. Mengapa kita perlu memvalidasi hasil perhitungan Sw dari log dengan Sw SCAL ? Dari kedua data Sw tersebut, mana yang anda lebih percaya? Jelaskan alasannya ?
Jawab.
Karena untuk mendapatkan harga Sw yang bagus, yang mendekati harga Sw di atas permukaan.
Sw SCAL, karena saturasi air tersebut sudah di uji di laboratorium, di atas permukaan.

5. Apa yang dimaksud dengan shale ? Apa bedanya dengan clay ?
Jawab.
Shale merupakan sedimen yang berbutir sangat halus yang terbentuk akibat konsolidasi clay dan silt.
Clay merupakan bagian terbesar dari shale.
Perbedaan keduanya ada pada komposisinya, clay komposisinya dominan mineral lempung, sedangkan shale terdiri dari mineral lempung dan non lempung.

Pengalaman saya sangat antusias dan senang, karena bisa mempelajari software untuk membuat log. Kursus IP ini sangat bagus karena untuk dijadikan pengalaman di industri nantinya.
Seharusnya course ini dilaksanakan jangan hanya 1 kali, karena hanya mempelajari 1 kali dengan waktu 3-4 jam tidak cukup.
