In 2011 the INTERBOOT fair celebrates its jubilee. For the 50th time
we present you with the latest international watersports trends in
Friedrichshafen – imaginative, thrilling and innovative as ever. For
this year‘s INTERBOOT fair you can expect both future trends and
a walk down memory lane along the past decades of watersports.
Join us on a time travel through history and visit our central special
exhibition at hall A2 for the anniversary.
Relive the premiere of the INTERBOOT harbour and its fi rst German In-
water-Boatshow, admire the theme isles with exhibits from 50 years
of INTERBOOT in the individual exhibition areas and the development
of the boats. Remember the years, when surfboards meant a whole
new world to us. Celebrate the unwaning watersports enthusiasm
with us.

sports estuaries? The maritime Travel Center in Hall A4 shows you some
of the most beautiful destinations of the world. No matter if you wish
to charter a yacht, book a hotel room or admire the underwater world
snorkeling and diving, you are given fi rst-hand advice.
As a visitor of the INTERBOOT you enjoy a very special service at the
CharterForum with Bernhard Bartholmes an Mareike Guhr: we offer
stand-alone insider information about the greatest bays to anchor in,
marinas, restaurants and bars at your destination. At www.interboot.com

Everyone who loves being under water fi nds overall information
about equipment, diving schools and diving destinations in Hall A4.
What about diving into the water right at the Exhibition? The INTER-
BOOT Diving Center is perfectly prepared for your visit.

Trend Sports
Stand Up Paddling, Surfi ng, kiting, surf riding: these trend sports are
all about having fun and controlling your own body in wind and
waves. Just feel the power of the elements. Feel how the speed of
the board and the pulse beat go up in unison with the sound of the
waves. Experience the meaning of freedom when fl ying over the
spray. Trend sports make one live the very special wonders of nature.
For shopping, the community meets at the INTERSURF. Here you’ll
fi nd the best sportswear, the latest sails, and tips for hot destinations
as well. During the week beginners can take a chance to hop on the
board in the Wakeboard-Arena. Professionals can show their skills at
the CA$H FOR TRICKS event on 24th September 2011 and, with a little
help from the visitors, their styles are rewarded with cash.

Events | Kids | Youth
Testing, being active, having fun. The INTERBOOT is more than an
Exhibition to look around. Offering an outstanding range of events
within the many different areas of water sports, the Exhibition invites
any visitor to join in and experience top-class sports happenings. One
of the spectacular highlights is the motor boat race Liquid Quarter
Mile every evening. The overall concept makes the Exhibition have its
own unique spirit. Water sports enthusiasts meet at the INTERBOOT
to gather information, share their experience and to have a good
time together. Since 2008 the free INTERBOOT-CARD helps keeping in
touch throughout the whole year outside of the Exhibition itself. You
fi nd further information at www.interboot-card.de.
Excitement, games and sports is also offered by the INTERBOOT Kids
and Youth Programme. While the very little ones happily play at
the Maritime nursery school, the older ones have the opportunity to
experience water sports very closely: they can gain a certifi cate for
their dinghy ride on the Exhibition-Lake, take the rudder at the Mini
12-Sailing, go on their fi rst dive or set sail by test sailing on the Lake
Constance or the Exhibition-Lake.
The INTERBOOT-Youthcamp holds two days of action only, including
a party as well as an overnight stay. The Youthcamp already takes
place for the 10th time from September 24th to 25th, 2011. For further
