The stackable chair is available in different versions with a synthetic bucket or a separate back and seat. NEXXT Generation grows alongside the student and provides a recognisable atmosphere throughout the entire school.

PROPER PREPARATION IS HALF THE WORK

These days, a furnishing concept encompasses more than just the delivery and installation of sustainable furniture. It is a business plan that takes your specific situation and position with respect to other schools into account. That is why our interior design experts are trained to properly assess how your school wishes to position itself, what your school's vision on the form of education is and how it intends to distinguish itself from other schools.

Very flexible: these drawers in widths of a quarter, one half and three quarters. To give them a personal touch, there's even room for a custom inlay.

Never getting stuck on anything again, because the back is firmly attached to the frame by means of a pop rivet.

Additional comfort by providing a perfect sitting position in which students can move the position of their feet between the foot rests on the chair and on the table.

Only then will there be a briefing regarding the furnishings – possibly using a mood board from our own Interior Design department so you can see examples of the range of ideas. We will draw up an initial furnishing proposal based on the approved briefing and mood board. Step by step, we will form a final plan, after which we will draw in the furniture and create a fully 3D visualisation for you. This allows you to get a virtual look at your newly furnished school in advance! Finally, we will ensure fast production and delivery of your new furnishings. For the most part, we control the production speed, due to the very short lines of communication at Presikhaaf Schoolmeubelen. We have been designing and producing the school furniture at our Arnhem location for 40 years and are a

100% Dutch company with all the benefits that this brings. We control all aspects of the manufacturing process ourselves, from sawmills to metalworking and furniture manufacturing to assembly, which means that we can offer a lot of flexibility to our buyers. Not only in terms of delivery speed, but also when custom work is desired or required.

Our own Interior Design department provides the furnishing and design plans. This is done based on our interior design experts' meetings with you, your team and the insights of the partnered architecture firm.

TWO HEADS ARE BETTER THAN ONEAs a school furniture expert, we can do a lot, but we can't do everything. For some specific solutions we will gladly make use of other suppliers. This covers, for instance, the (partial) furnishing of ancillary rooms, teachers' rooms, etc. Of course we select our suppliers with the greatest care and stay in control so you will have to deal with only one contact at all times. Preferred partners are, for example, Woodi (ergonomic solid birch wood designer furniture from Finland), Gratnells (advanced tray storage and cabinets, compatible with standard school furniture) and Legamaster (e-Board Touch and e-Screen: high-quality interactive systems as a motor for interactive learning).

The atmospheric solid birch wood furniture catches your eye thanks to the colourful Scandinavian design and sustainable quality. Woodi offers solution for individual and group work. The contemporary collection is modular in nature and can be easily adapted to new development and learning situations. This allows for learning while sitting, standing or even lying down. This improves the ergonomics of the nursery teachers and other child care employees in a smart and attractive way.

NEW FURNISHINGS FOR DOMMELRODE PRIMARY SCHOOL: PERFECT EXAMPLE OF CO-CREATION AND A SOCIAL RETURN ON INVESTMENT PROJECT.

Everyone was able to provide input and indicate their preferences, which led to a full co-creation between school board, management, teachers, designer, participation council and the Royal Ahrend companies. Presikhaaf Schoolmeubelen, as primary education furnishing expert, took up the coordination and realisation of the project.

Contemporary and well-considered custom solutionsThe challenge to push back the frontiers was big. All rooms – from entrance and pantries to work and team rooms – had to be completely renovated and tuned to each other. The designer took this into account from the very start. 'We increased the entrance hall's size, created a better passageway, adjusted the features of many rooms so you do not have to cross them to get somewhere else. For the classrooms in particular we wanted to create some rest by adding structure and carefully choosing the colours. Both the Dommelrode logo and the natural colours from the environment return in the interior design in their own way and in a calming balance.'

Dommelrode Primary School in Sint-Oedenrode underwent a complete metamorphosis. The school was renovated and all the furnishings were renewed. It is a prime example of the strength of co-creation and a Social Return on Investment project. It resulted in a completely state-of-the-art layout and furnishings that ensure Dommelrode is all set for the future.

Unique collaboration between the Royal Ahrend companiesThe Royal Ahrend companies, of which Presikhaaf Schoolmeubelen is a part, created a complete furnishing concept for all rooms of the Dommelrode school. 2 The huge improvements are clearly noticeable on a day to day basis. A teacher: 'The ergonomic applications have been properly considered. The desks are now at equal heights, as are the chairs; the adjustable foot rests ensure that the furniture fits everyone. Social Return on Investment projectFor Presikhaaf Schoolmeubelen BV'sparent company, Koninklijke Ahrend NV, the massive project had another dimension as well. Dommelrode Primary School is a direct 'neighbour' of its head office in Sint-Oedenrode. Executing this project was a great way of showing local involvement in this Brabant municipality and giving back by means of 'social return on investment'. In the context of its CSR policy, Koninklijke Ahrend NV - one of the biggest employers in the environment - gifted the hours and furniture to Dommelrode Primary School.

Either from our standard range of products or by specific custom work – or a combination of both. We do not shy away from using new trends based on optimal ergonomics. For instance, we introduced single height tables and the use of foot rests on chairs and tables in the Netherlands. It is our smart solution for students who are bigger or smaller than average.

We also promote more motion in education. Children often sit too still in the classroom, whereas motion while learning is actually very important. This creates connections between the left and rights hemispheres of the brain and ensure you remember what you have learned longer. All sorts of processes are started in your body when you move. More blood and oxygen to the brain, positive hormones that improve curiosity and an added dose of concentration. Furthermore, it is a welcome break from learning. Presikhaaf Schoolmeubelen meets the strictest market standards both in terms of work method and in terms of production techniques. ISO standards 9001 (quality management system) and 14001 (environment management system) apply to our work method. Presikhaaf Schoolmeubelen is ISO 9001 certified and works fully in accordance with the principles of ISO 9001-2015 and ISO 14001-2015. For our production technique, the NEN-EN 1729 standard applies for school furniture. This standard assumes the use of seven sizes for both tables and chairs indicated with a code and a colour. All Presikhaaf’s school furniture has been manufactured according to this principle. Moreover, we are in the process of being certified for the CSR Performance Ladder. This means that we take our social responsibility and make efforts towards creating more sustainable job for people with a vulnerable labour market position. Moss walls both catch the eye and improve the atmosphere. They are fire-retardant, dirt-proof and maintenance-friendly. Thanks to their strong noise-reducing effect they contribute to good acoustics.
