• First choice is GIN rather

than publisher

• Purchase using GIN

with IFM (ILLiad addon)

IFMIFM• Do not have to use IFM, but it saves time• Need deposit account for GIN• Separate from CCC deposit account

• Without IFM, it is same process minus IFM payment authorization

• With IFM:• Do not have to monitor deposit account• Add funds when necessary• Receive monthly invoice & statement with

purchases and total due

• Articles delivered quickly to patrons (in 1 to 8 hours -- most within 2 hours)

• Full-text: readable & consistent (no photocopy smudges, etc. & color if available)

ConCon• Occasionally a request is cancelled

by GIN because the publisher does not provide PDFs for pre-release articles

• GIN sends email notifying of cancellation

• ILL is not charged until article is sent.
