It is our honor and indeed a pleasure to host the “ICOMOS-ISCS International Conference-2014”in Kongju NationalUniversity, Gongju, Korea. ICOMOS-ISCS is the InternationalScientific Committee for Stone from ICOMOS. The purpose ofthe ISCS is to promote the knowledge and the preservation ofinorganic porous building materials, such as natural andartificial stone conservation.
Also, the purpose of this Conference is to provide a forumfor scientists, conservator, owners of cultural heritageproperties and other experts who are involved in culturalheritage preservation. The focus will be centered onscientific and technological studies and inquiries related toconservation and restoration of stone and earthen heritageconstructed of stones, unfired clay and soil based materials.
The International Conference will take place from May 20to 23, 2014. The International Conference Committee isdelighted to invite you to the ICOMOS-ISCS InternationalConference-2014. We hope you will show keen interest in theevent and fully participate at the conference so that it will bea great success.
