ICAB 2019, an International Conference on Applied

Biology aims to bring together a significant number of

leading academic scientists, researchers, students and

research scholars to exchange & share their experiences,

research results and disseminate knowledge about the

recent advances made in these areas in order to overcome

the practical challenges and to provide their solutions.

Enhanced understanding of biological phenomenon

incorporated with interdisciplinary approaches has

resulted in major breakthrough products for betterment of

society. The conference also aims to discuss the new

approaches and application methods, besides the usual

research strategy and industrial applications in the

mentioned themes. Further, eminent scientists across the

betterment of mankind.

Govt., of India has supported our projects and the industry has been closely involved in our R&D activities.The University has the unique distinction of being inaugurated by the President of India in the year 2004 and the first convocation addressed by the Prime Minister of India in the year 2008. The University is also making an effort to create an extensive university-industry cooperation for economic growth of the area as well as the rest of the country. There are many on going research projects with assistance from many supporting institutions.

Call for PapersAuthors are requested to submit abstract (250 words) through an

email to icab2019@gmail.com latest by 15th September, 2019.

The abstract should be typed in MS word, Times New Roman, 12

point size and 1.5 line spacing. The recommended poster size shall

be 120 x 100 cm.

For Key-note and special invitees speakers, accommodationshall

be arranged by the organizers.

Accommodation for the Academic/ R&D/ industries delegates of

ICAB-2019 would be arranged in guest houses of SMVDU,

Sanjevani and at Katra Hotels withpayment of Rs. 700/day on

sharing basis.

Student category delegates:

All accommodation would be shared, for students inthe SMVDU

hostels. Charges would be between Rs. 200-300 per bed per

night.

How to ReachShri Mata Vaishno Devi University is situated 40 Km North of

Jammu in the scenic surroundings of Trikuta foothills, near the holy

town of Katra in District Reasi. The Campus is situated close to the

beautiful tourist resort of Jhajjar - Kotli. One can reach SMVDU

campus by local or private transport from Jammu/Katra.

Airport directly to University Campus (Distance approximately 50

Kms)

Option 2 : Board bus from Jammu Bus Stand/Railway Station

plying to Udhampur/Katra but alight at Domel (Approx. 39 Kms).
