Cari colleghi,

è con vero piacere potervi presentare, a nome mio e dei miei collaboratori, il convegno in onore del 50°

anniversario della Chirurgia Vascolare di Garbagnate Milanese.

Nel lontano 1965 il professor Tattoni iniziò la sua avventura in quel di Garbagnate, inviato dal suo maestro

Professor Malan. Eravamo agli albori della chirurgia vascolare in Italia e da allora molta acqua è passata

sotto i ponti e di conseguenza moltissime novità si sono succedute in chirurgia vascolare, quindi il trovarci

in questi giorni vuole essere un ricordo di chi ci ha preceduto ed insegnato moltissimo, ma anche una

occasione per dibattere, in una serie di tavole rotonde, argomenti che ogni giorno dobbiamo affrontare,

ma che spesso non abbiamo modo di approfondire in convegni dove il tempo è sempre tiranno. Il mio

desiderio è che, in questa occasione, si possa discutere dei buoni o meno buoni risultati che tutti noi ci

troviamo a valutare ogni giorno per poter dare, in una prossima occasione, una migliore cura ai nostri

pazienti, gli unici deputati a meritarsi di ottenere un risultato sempre migliore dal nostro lavoro.

Il programma del convegno è stato formulato pensando ad alcuni argomenti che siano di alto interesse e

complessità per il chirurgo vascolare, al quale è di grande aiuto oggigiorno la collaborazione con altri

specialisti siano essi angiologi, radiologi o cardiologi interventisti o esperti nel campo dell’emergenza/

urgenza; inoltre, alla conclusione di ogni giornata, l’intervento di un illustre collega proporrà una lezione

magistrale che, mi auguro, possa conquistare l’attenzione di tutti, anche se alla fine di una intensa giorna-

ta di lavoro.

Spero che il programma scientifico e la modalità di presentazione e discussione degli argomenti, come

grandi tavole rotonde, sia d’interesse per tutti e mi permetta di incontrarvi in questa felice occasione.

Dear Colleagues,

It is with great pleasure to present, on behalf of myself and my colleagues, the conference in honor of the

50th anniversary of the Vascular Surgery Garbagnate Milanese.

In 1965 Professor Tattoni began his adventure in Garbagnate, sent by his teacher Professor Malan. We

were at the dawn of vascular surgery in Italy and since then much water has passed under the bridge and

as a result many new features have occurred in vascular surgery, so these days wants to be a remembran-

ce of those who have gone before us and taught us a lot, but also an opportunity to discuss, in a series of

panel discussions, arguments that we face every day, but often we do not have the opportunity to study in

meetings where time is always a tyrant. My wish is that, on this occasion, we can discuss the good or less

good results that we all find ourselves in every day to be able to assess, at an early opportunity, a better

care to our patients, the only MPs to deserve to always best to get a result from our work.

The conference program has been formulated thinking about some topics that are of high interest and

complexity for the vascular surgeon, which is a big help today in collaboration with other specialists whe-

ther angiologists, radiologists and interventional cardiologists and experts in the field of emergency/

urgency, at the end of each day, the intervention of a distinguished colleague will offer a lecture that I

hope will capture the attention of everyone, even if at the end of a long day's work.

I hope that the scientific program and the method of presentation and discussion of the topics, such as

large round tables, will be of interest to everyone and let me meet you on this happy occasion.

gibile attraverso le linee ferroviarie suburbane S5 (Treviglio - Milano Passante - Varese) e S6 (Pioltello -

La stazione è inoltre servita dalla linee ferroviarie Milano Varese, Milano Domodossola e Milano Torino.

Dalla stazione ferroviaria e capolinea della Metropolitana Milanese 1 Rho Fiera si possono utilizzare gli

autobus urbani in direzione Centro Città.

In servizio pubblico di pullman è possibile utilizzare le linee STIE da Milano Cadorna, fermata Santuario.

In automobile o pullman:
