New Format of the Seaman's Book and Permission for Embarkation issued by the Ministry of Transport and Maritime Affairs of Montenegro

Communication received from the Government of Montenegro

The Secretary-General of the International Maritime Organization has the honour to refer to the communication of 27 January 2011 received from the Government of Montenegro. The Government of Montenegro has advised that the issuing of the above-mentioned documents will begin from 1 February 2011. Copies of specimens of the Seaman's book and permission of embarkation new format are attached in the annex. The Secretary-General would be grateful if steps could be taken to bring this information to the attention of the appropriate authorities.
