CORE VALUES AND EXCELLENCE IN TECHNICAL ENGINEERING
Ingérop was created in 1962 as a branch dedicated to technical studies of the French contractor GTM (Grands
Travaux de Marseille), which later became part of VINCI in 2000.
Although originally dedicated to civil and structural engineering, Ingérop progressively enhanced its expertise
in order to undertake multidisciplinary projects including electrical and mechanical engineering as well
as process equipment and installations. At the same time, Ingérop developed strong project management
capabilities to serve both public and private sector clients within its core businesses of infrastructure, public
transport, energy, water and environment, buildings and industrial facilities.
In 2001, Ingérop became an independent engineering consulting company and is today a simplified joint-
stock company, with an internal controlling shareholding based upon a strong commitment of its entire
staff. The firm is led by its Board of Directors and operated through an Executive Committee.
Thanks to its exceptional network of regional branches, Ingérop is continuing to expand its powerful local
position in France. In the meantime the turnover generated outside France is regularly growing with the aim
of achieving one third of our activity abroad in the coming years both through organic growth and through
dedicated acquisitions.
With 2000 permanent staff including 1300 engineers and thanks to their dedication, experience and expertise,
Ingérop is a leading partner in the execution of engineering projects relating to civil, building and nuclear
works, able to provide services which add value in a sustainable manner.
Socially and ethically responsible, Ingérop staff share the following values:
• a constant commitment to recruit, educate and maintain highly qualified engineers to focus on technically
demanding projects,
• an open employee relationship based on mutual trust, respect and sharing of success,
• independence, transparency, accountability and discipline rendering in our services,
• financial responsibility to our clients,
• an uncompromising commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment.
Yves Metz
Chairman
4
The capacity of Ingérop to operate outside of France relies on:
• its existing subsidiaries and offices abroad,
• the ability of a major company to efficiently mobilise experienced internal teams,
• and the long term relationships and networks developed in the world through partnerships.
Therefore, besides the countries where our subsidiaries are located, we regularly contract and mobilise across the globe, in particular in Latin America, South and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Australia and throughout Africa.
Our range of services abroad include consulting and feasibility studies on any subject relevant to our disciplines, assistance to owners, project management, preliminary and detailed design, design and construction supervision, as well as commissioning of works on major international projects. We currently manage major contracts in:
• infrastructure where Ingérop supervise the construction of major highway works in Montenegro, executes the preliminary design of a section of the high speed line HS2 in the UK and supervises the construction of Padma Bridge in Bangladesh,
• public transportation with the feasibility in PPP scheme and the detailed design of the third line of the Lima metro in Peru, the feasibility and detailed design of two lines of the Nairobi BRT in Kenya,
• water with the design and works supervision of the raising of Hazelmere Dam and major water transfer schemes in South Africa and the maritime works of the Al-Zhour refinery in Kuwait,
• buildings with the detailed design and execution drawings of the extension of the International Airport of Geneva (Switzerland), the project management of the Infinity Towers in Cyprus or the Gasteig mall in München (Germany),
• industrial and nuclear facilities with the design of various industrial buildings on Hinkley Point nuclear plant in the UK, the detailed and construction design of the Barka desalination plant in Oman and industrial buildings in Germany which represent a significant activity of Ingérop Deutschland.
Energy and sustainable development constitute key issues for future generations, and Ingérop is investing in current R&D projects in order to play an increasing role in these fields. For all our disciplines, our vision is to be a leading European engineering firm delivering services in a global marketplace.

BIM, 3D MODELLINGBuilding Information Model, BIM, is systematically used by Ingerop for all our buildings and infrastructure design. The use of 3D models allows from an early stage a complete overlap of the architectural views and engineering drawings. At further stages of detailed design, mechanical and electrical engineering as well as all technical parameters are integrated in the structure in such a way that coordination is automatically ensured. This process is a crucial technical and cost control tool throughout the complete engineering process.
