The International College Klessheim is located on the doorstep of the cultural city of Salzburg and is world-famous for its high level of know-how in the hotel, catering and food & beverage management sectors. The school regularly wins culinary, language and business plan competitions and has an excellent international network.

The Kavalierhaus in Klessheim is unique. It is one of the most sought-af ter event locations not only in the region of Salzburg but also in southern Germany. Here the students gain important practical experience in F&B management and event catering. The Kavalierhaus is the training facility of the Klessheim Tourism College and is also available for students to organise their own events.

Sure. All you need is your high school graduation certif icate. Neither at our college nor at our partner universities are there any entrance exams or knock-out phases at the beginning of your course. It’s your motivation that counts.

Af ter a short period many college students start working at various events and earn their own money. A paid internship follows af ter the f irst year. With your diploma you can work all over the world. But you can also do a Bachelor degree and then begin your career.

Our college and university can’t be compared: Universities

work theoretically and scientif ically, whereas the college

seeks a direct connection with practical training. Group sizes

are limited within the college (maximum 30), languages or

culinary classes are divided into smaller groups. Students are

looked af ter individually in the college. Sommelier courses or

other practical programs are expensive and entail a high cost

of materials, which is included in the tuition fee.

W I L L I D E F I N I T E LY B E F I N I S H E D I N 2 Y E A R S?

In the college you will have a f ixed place in all classes. If

you are motivated and pass all your exams, you will complete

your training in 2 years and if you wish you can get your Ba-

chelor degree in 3.5 years.

Af ter you have graduated from high school, English won’t be

a problem for you at the college. If you want to work interna-

tionally, there really is no alternative to English. Your class

colleagues come from all over the world. English is also not

the mother tongue for most of them, just believe in yourself!
