On behalf of the International Kun Gek-Do Federation, I welcome the
organizers, participants and guests of the International Korea Cup Martial arts
Championships.
I’m honored to host the International Korea Cup Martial arts Championships
having an array of martial arts competition. In the Last event, the best athletes
from all around the world came together to compete, and it was simply exciting
to see the games on live. It’s a festival for martial artist all over the world.
I am convinced that the International Korea Cup Martial arts Championships
will be held on high organizational level and will reveal new names of talented
athletes.
I wish all participants successful bouts, and the guests and spectators bright
impressions from high level of athletes!

REQUIREMENT
All competitors must be born before 23rd November,1995
Every competitor attending this event should fill in the Entry Form to submit by registration deadline to IKF
Each of 1st, 2nd, 3rd winners will be awarded medals & diplomas of honors. All participants will be awarded certificates & mementoes.

Fight competition: Title(3min/5round), Ranking(2min,3round), Amateur(1min, 3round)
Weight division:
Flyweight (-50.8kg), Bantamweight (-53.5kg), Featherweight (-57.1kg) Lightweight (-61.2kg), Welterweight (-66.6kg), Middleweight (-72kg), Light Heavyweight (-76kg), Heavyweights (-80kg), Super Heavyweights (+80kg) Breaking competition: Individual (Male & Female)
* Weigh-in is only allowed after registration. All athletes at the weight-in must provide their accreditation cards.
COMPETITON RULES
K-1 rule is applied for fight competition Allowed to use the weight of gloves is form 8 ounce to 12 ounce The attack of knee and elbow, both are prohibited Amateur contestants have to wear the Head gear, Chest and shin pads
* All contestants must prepare their own protective gear (gum shied, bandage, Vaseline, protective cup. (Due to hygiene problem, the OC is not in charge of providing these items to all athletes.)
ACCOMMOD EXPENSE

All participants should have their Medical Insurance Policy covered for this game prior to
participate this game. The Organizing Committee will not be responsible for this matter. Please apply for your visa in advance. Please be informed that you should give us the flight schedule-both In & Out details-prior to
your departure to get the required arrangement at your convenience. Bring your two national flag and audio tape or CD copy of your national anthem.

About Busan: Busan is the second largest city in Korea, located at the southeastern tip of the Korean peninsula, with a population of around 3.6 million. Its deep harbor and gentle tides have allowed it to grow into the largest container handling port in to grow into the fifth largest in the world. Busan was the host city of 2002 Asian Games and APEC2005 Korea. It was also one of the host cities for the 2002 FIFA World Cup. Busan is becoming known as a world-class city of tourism, culture and international conventions.

damages to the hotels, the venue, means of transportation, departure on time, etc.
Furthermore, I exempt from any legal, civil or criminal responsibilities the organizers of the game, the
International Kungek-do Federation, its directors, as well as any person, company, or entity related to the event
(sponsors, public and private entities).
I authorize the organizers of the event to use images, photos and the names of our competitors and other
members of our delegation (as considered necessary) for the sport activities and publications of karate, related
to the event, without any monetary compensation.
