“The Quinn School is to me a harbourwhere students are always making newinternational friends and set sail to allcorners of the globe, and the three yearsof my commerce degree was just onewonderful journey of discovering theworld and myself. I was challenged tonurture the potentials I had never noticedand to find my own path of becoming achampion professional. Those were days full of team-working, innovating, debating, reflecting and laughing!”

Kaiwei Lee, China, Senior Associate PWC Ireland

“The BComm International programme was a greatexperience from start to finish. Studying business inthe Quinn School while also earning a minor inlanguage is unparalleled! Throughout my degree Irepresented UCD in Gaelic football, was a Student'sUnion Class Rep and was also involved with theCommerce & Economics Society. My Erasmus year inCologne in Germany was another amazing experiencewhere my language skills vastly improved, I made newfriends and immersed myself in a new culturalenvironment. I also co-founded a Showjumpingadvisory app and competed in Ireland's Best YoungEntrepreneur of the Year 2018 competition. Thisdegree, combining business and language and thecultural exposure it offers, makes BCommInternational really stand out to employers.”

Brian Kenny, BComm International 2018 Consulting Analyst, Accenture

“Commerce is the course for you if you areinterested in a business related field as you willdevelop a broad understanding of a range ofbusiness topics and will be able to choose what youlike most in your final year. During my exchange atSimon Fraser University in Canada, I developedgreat friendships and great memories and becamea lot more confident. There are lots of opportunitiesto get involved and throughout my time in UCD,I’ve been a peer exchange advisor, a student peermentor and on the committee of the ErasmusStudent Network among other activities. These experiences have helped me to develop many valuable skills of interest to employers.”

Jia Lin Chia, BComm 2018

“BSc Economics and Finance provides anunrivalled skillset for those looking to work infinance. It couples the statistical elements offinancial analysis with the macroeconomicinsight necessary to apply it in the real world. However, my year-long internship with WillisTowers Watson and the semester I spentstudying at the National University ofSingapore were two unforgettable experiencesthat benefited my development more thananything I could learn in a classroom. The small class size in Economics and Financeensures that there is top-class technicalsupport and access to senior academic staff,as well as providing a brilliant peer network.”
