Territorial group IPA Rimavska Sobota of Slovak section IPA organize an international Friendship
week for IPA colleagues from worldwide. We are a small TG with the seat in the town Rimavska
Sobota /25000 inhabitants/, which is situated in South Central Slovakia near by Hungarian border.
We are not a literally tourist destination rather a forgotten region but within the IPA friendship we
offer to our friends-colleagues, which will make decision to participate in this friendly gathering, visit
not only less known but also famous tourist attractions and known places in wider surroundings of
Rimavska Sobota.
During the week you will have an opportunity
to see ....the forgotten but nice town Rimavska
Sobota and its narrow surroundings, a local
museum, a church from 13th century, open air
relax areas and participants will visit an
observatory too;
...calcite and aragonite caves / note: only 3
aragonite caves of this richness of crystals
are open to the public worldwide and this
one is the largest open from these;
...castles, a manor-house, castle breakouts,
known more and less but interesting as
Fiľakovo, Šomoška, Betliar, Halič, Bojnice-
the most beautiful castle in Slovakia
....natural places as the stone waterfall and stone sea in Šomoška,
mountains of High Tatras also the lake Štrbske Pleso there and visit the
mountain

...and in order to it wouldn´t be little you will visit an original
rural shed /restaurant/

During the event will be realized only light hiking procedures, but it is highly recommended to
have comfortable boots and clothes. Especially during a visit to the mountain areas, caves, natural
places.
If you are a person who is satisfied with only Hotel *** accommodation unfortunately without pool
and wellness facilities and you are interested in this offer of planned attractions, think about your
participation, please.

Basic information
The capacity of the Friendship week is max. 25 participants.
Duration of the event is 8 days/7 nights with beginning on Sunday /dinner/ and ending on next
Sunday /breakfast/.
Date: 28. July - 4. August 2019, /can be changed ± a week according to steam train rides schedule,
exact date will be specified later likely on Dec/Jan 2019/
Participation fee is 850 €/person. Accommodation will be realized in shared double rooms.
In case of single room request the participation fee is 950 €/person . /Limited number/
Participation fee includes: transport from /to Rimavska Sobota to/from Budapest Airport /on arrive
and departure days/, accommodation, meals/ breakfast, lunch, dinner/, organised programs,
entrance fees and fares to a places according to event plan, gift for participants.
Arrival/Departure: if you are planning arrive by plane we recommend you use Budapest Airport as
a destination of the trip. Transport from Budapest airport will be provided by organiser 1x by bus
according to arrives of the all participants /the same transport will be realized after the end of the
event/
Bus departure from Budapest Airport terminal parking in arrival day will be ca. 16.00 h,
Bus departure from Rimavska Sobota in departure day will be 9.00 h. /arrive to Budapest Airport
approx.. 11.30 h./
Please note , distance between Rimavska Sobota and Budapest is 160km and take time 2,5 hours by
bus.
If you are planning arrive by another type of transport the destination of the trip is Hotel Zlaty Býk

Participant agree with the fact, that taking part in the event Friendship week is realized on
participant´s own responsibility.
The organiser highly recommend to provide a travel insurance with reimbursement of medical
expenses before travel.
The organiser does not provide any insurance of participants.
The organizer refuses any responsibility for any damage caused by participants also for any extra
expenses resulting to participants from any reasons.
