POV’S REQUIRING A LOADING DOCKExhibitors arriving in POV’s (Personally Owned Vehicles) requir-ing a dock height to unload themselves may use the loading dock area. We have allotted one dock space on a first-come, first-served basis for Personally Owned Vehicles. Vehicles requiring dock space will be put in the marshaling yard line to obtain a pass for unloading.

MARSHALLING YARD PROCEDURE - FOR BOTH MOVE-IN AND MOVE-OUT• The Marshalling Yard is located at 1221 S. Peters Street.

• After unloading you must move your vehicle away from the docks. POVs have 20 minutes to unload and may not leave their vehicle at the docks during booth set-up. POVs left unattended will be towed away at the exhibitor’s expense. POVs may park at Lot G adjacent to the Morial Convention Center after unloading at the dock and then return to the Morial Convention Center for booth set-up.

EXHIBITOR SHIPPING – AFTER THE SHOWEvery outbound shipment will require a material handling agreement (bill of lading) and labels. Freeman would be happy to prepare these for you in advance and will deliver them to your booth at the show site to review and sign. To take advantage of this service, please see a Freeman rep-resentative at the Freeman Desk or the Exhibitor Services Desks located in the Great Hall Pre-Function Area behind lobby A.

Once your shipment is packed and ready to be picked up, please return the material handling agreement to the one of the Freeman Service Desks. Verify that piece count, weight and signature is on the material handling agreement prior to shipping out or material handling will be returned to Freeman’s warehouse at the exhibitor’s expense.

Trucks will be loaded only when all exhibiting companies scheduled for pick up by that carrier are ready, and all material handling agreements have been turned in to the Freeman Service Desk. To avoid overtime charges, be sure to schedule your pick-up during straight time hours of operation.

Don’t rely on collecting business cards, because not everyone will carry them. XPress Lead Retrieval is the all-in-one solu-tion for exhibitor lead management, as everyone will have a badge with a QR code to scan. Scan the badges as people enter your booth and build a database of prospective custom-ers, and use the follow up tools to rate each sales lead, take notes, select sales qualifiers, email the person, etc. For assis-tance at the show, please visit the Convention Data Services Lead Retrieval desk in the Great Hall Pre-Function Area behind Lobby A.

*1D barcodes are no longer printed on badges

BOOTH CLEANINGGeneral cleaning of the aisles and other public areas is the responsibility of Show Management.

Each exhibitor is responsible for the cleaning of their own stand. If you need to order cleaning services, please visit the Freeman Service Desk at the Exhibitor Services Desks, in the Pre-Function Area behind Lobby A.

SECURITYPlease take every precaution to guard your merchandise and property from theft. You are most vulnerable to theft during the Thursday evening dismantling. Also, please take care of any personal possessions such as handbags, laptop cases, etc. as you are responsible for your goods throughout move-in, show hours, and move-out. Please do not leave valuable items unattended, especially during the last few hours of the event.

Please assist us in protecting exhibitor property by remaining in your booth after show close until Security can sweep the floor of all remaining attendees and secure the show floor.

Everyone must wear a badge at all times during exposition days. Exhibitors are responsible for ordering badges for their workers and staff. Do not give or lend your badge to anyone, you may be held responsible and prosecuted. If you find a badge, please bring it to the Show Management Office imme-diately.

Show Management is not in charge of booth surveillance. Should any exhibitor wish to hire this kind of security, they must do so through Convention Security Services at 504-666-4202. Convention Security Services is the exclusive security provider for the International WorkBoat Show.

Any thefts or damage must be reported to the Show Manage-ment office located in Lobby A, Ticket Office 1 immediately.

Please report anything suspicious to Security or the Show Management immediately.
