INTRODUCTION GDA Trusteeship Ltd. was established in the year 1997

as a Private limited Company, then called as GDA Trust Management Pvt. Ltd.

The company is a brainchild of Mr.C.(Dilip )M.Dixit, well known Chartered Accountant., who is Senior Partner in M/s G D Apte & Company. M/s G.D.Apte & Company is the oldest firm of Chartered Accountants from Pune. The firm has handled some of the major assignments in its illustrious history of 80 years.

The Company started its operations from Pune , As a matter of pride it is stated that this is the first Private Sector Company to be registered by SEBI.

EXPERIENCES GAIN FROM TRAINING PROGRAM

• The internship chance that I avail with CTL was a great opportunity for learning and professional development.

• I have chosen CTL to learn and gain proficiency in my respective, Finance dept as well as a very influential field that is growing at an un-recoverable rate.

• It is also a matter of immense pleasure for me to work in distinct environment that introduced such a new thing. I recognize this opportunity as a big milestone in career .

OPERATIONAL ACTIVITIES CARRIED OUT

• Interacting with the team on understanding the day to day activities.

• Carrying out all operational activities under securitisation. 

• Preparing Payout letters as per the payment schedule.• Co-orientating with the team for the monthly MIS to be

prepared.• Preparing excel sheets in prescribed format for the

securitisation software.• Creating SPV’s and repayment schedule in the

software.• Uploading the data in the securitisation software.

• Daily reporting on the work carried out as per hierarchy.

 • Worked on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) data for

the company.• Checking current accounts of the SPVs to ensure

payment is made from originator‘s end.

LEARNING EXPERIENCES• During my internship program, I get familiar with the

work environment and the culture of CTL.• Internship gave me the opportunity to learn valuable

information and acquire skills about my chosen career. You can never understand what a job is unless you have worked practically.

• Internship enhanced my skill and ability to work in a team. CTL allowed me to work with people who are the professional of my chosen career.

• Internship allowed me to gain experience and develop interpersonal skills which made me an attractive candidate for any employer.

• I learned the ability to multi task and improve my communication skill as well as I became self confident and tactful.

• Internship helped me to create entrepreneurial skill and learn work ethic.

• I became able to judge professionally, learned to act in ethical manner that is most important quality to develop before moving forward.

• I am able to overcome from cognitive dissonance that was the major weakness I have been facing at the beginning of my internship.

CONCLUSION• During my internship period in CTL. I came to go

through a lot of experiences that helped me develop distinct qualities to achieve success in future.• I have brought to a close that without the

practical knowledge it is quite impossible to understand and work in business environment. This internship has smoothed the way to look into the near future and to step out in real world to achieve name and fame.
