Experiment

• Place a few strands of spirogyra in a drop of water on slide, cover with coverslip

• View under low power to focus• View under high power• Draw diagram of cell, include magnification

and size.• Irrigate slide with saline solution

•Place a drop of saline solution on slide at edge of cover slip•Use small piece of paper towel on opposite edge of coverslip to absorb fresh water
