Physical Properties
The physical properties of a substance are properties that do not change the chemical nature of matter.
Examples are: color, smell, freezing point, boiling point, melting point, infrared spectrum, attraction or repulsion to magnets, opacity, viscosity and density. Note that measuring each of these properties will not alter the basic nature of the substance.
State of matter is a physical property!!
