Objective: Design own research project with the various methods in addressing and analyzing of data of research project

Time Topic/Activity Remarks1300 – 1500 Research Methodology(30 min) Content should answer:

-what are the stages of the research process?-how to formulate a hypothesis and identify the independent and dependent variables?-what are the factors to consider when choosing the methods to test your hypothesis?

(1hr 30min) Activity: - Individually: Think of a problem to research on; formulate a hypothesis and design a procedure to test it - In groups: present your hypothesis and procedure with explanations; group members are to provide feedback to one another and chose one member for the final presentation to the whole class.

*must control time tightly

15min break1515 – 1800 Data Analysis (Analysis of Variance)(2hr 45min) Introduction to Design of Experiments

Content should answer:-what is Analysis of Variance and why is it important?-how to do it for single factor experiments?
