In humble prayer we ask you, almighty God: command that these gifts be borneby the hands of your holy Angel to your altar on high in the sight of your divine Majesty, so

LITURGY OF THE SACRAMENTS• The Father gives the Spirit to the Son who sends the Spirit

to renew the face of the earth• The Church calls upon the Father to send the Spirit through

the SonO God, who by invisible power accomplish a wondrous effect

through sacramental signs

LITURGY OF HOURS• The angels and saints offer continual praise to the Trinity in

eternity• The Church on earth offers continual praise to the Trinity in

timewe give you thanks for bringing us safely to this evening hour.
