My re-designs

I chose to re-design the covers of the ‘Fallen’ book series by Lauren Kate. The novels revolve around the ideology of angles and forbidden love. With this in mind I have tried to incor-porate fluidity in the imag-ery across all 3 books, and also in the title of the first book of the series ‘Fallen’.

The title is hand-drawn which was then vectorised.

I have used a minimal colour scheme for aesthetic purposes and have kept to a standard layout for my paper back books.

For the second book of the series ‘Torment’, I have photographed a piece of barbed-wire and manipulated it in pho-toshop, and assembled the images into the word ‘Torment’.

For the 3rd book ‘Passion’ I have used ribbon to write out the word and have then manipulated the image in photoshop to get the desired effect.
