Minimum Thickness
One of the characteristics that makes NEOLITH® stand out is how thin it is; it comes in thicknesses of 6, 12 and 20 mm. The difference in their use varies based on the
intended purpose.
For fl ooring (interior and exterior) and exterior applications (like ventilated façades), 6 mm is recommended; whereas 12 mm and 20 mm are reserved for more
demanding product uses such as for kitchen worktops.

Z SUSTAINABILITY Introducing
Neolith’s high-performance compact surface for kitchen and bathroom countertops, fl ooring, interior wall, facades and cladding applications comes with an assortment of green
benefi ts. Neolith has a variety of qualities that make it ideal for the environmentally-conscious professional.
100% Natural: Made of clays, feldspar, silica and natural mineral oxides, Neolith will not emit toxic fumes into the environment when exposed to fi re or extremely high
temperatures.
100% Recyclable: Up to 52% of any Neolith slab is composed of recycled natural materials.
Near-Zero Porosity: With a porosity of less than 0.08 percent, Neolith is impervious to absorption, making it a hygienic product resistant to bacteria that can cause disease
and trigger allergies.
Product Composition
Greenguard Certi cation (formerly GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certi cation): Certifi es that Neolith meets strict chemical emissions limits, contributing to a healthier
interior.
Certi cations and Memberships
Greenguard Gold Certi cation (formerly known as GREENGUARD Children & Schools Certi cation): Certifi es that Neolith is safe indoors for sensitive individuals (such as
children and the elderly) and ensures that the product is acceptable for use in environments such as schools and healthcare facilities.
CE (European Commission) Certi cation: Confi rms that Neolith meets European safety, health and environmental protection requirements.
LEED Points Earner: LEED, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is a program that provides third-party verifi cation of green buildings. Neolith satisfi es safety
prerequisites and earns points to help consumers achieve the desired level of certifi cation for their home or commercial project.
Member of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC): The USGBC, the council that oversees LEED, allows advocates for green-building policies and practices to come
together.
Z SUSTAINABILITY | Green Fact Sheet Introducing
Neolith’s unique sintering process and proprietary design also provide additional green bene ts:
Fewer raw materials, less erosion: Neolith’s thin slabs use fewer raw materials, resulting in less soil erosion, without sacrifi cing any strength.
CO2 Emissions Reduction: A slimmer slab means a lighter slab. With Neolith, it’s possible to transport more than double the amount of surface per container than with thicker
products like marble, granite or quartz. The lighter weight allows for a more fuel effi cient journey and considerable reductions in CO2 emissions.
No gut remodels: Neolith’s slim surface can be applied directly onto existing surfaces, saving remodelers from costly tear-outs while reducing landfi ll waste. No landfi ll waste
means no waste transportation needed, further reducing net CO2 emissions.
Optimized energy consumption: Neolith’s resistance to extremely high and low temperatures makes it ideal for ventilated façades. The thermal insulation and ventilation
between the Neolith façade and the building itself optimizes the building’s energy consumption considerably (up to 40 percent!).
For more information, please visit www.neolith.com
10 years—guaranteed: Neolith comes with a manufacturer’s guarantee of 10 years and does not need frequent replacement or maintenance treatments like other surfaces
materials. Neolith gives designers, architects and other industry professionals confi dence that their aestheticallyappealing design decisions are equally appealing to the
environment.

Z NEOLITH SKYLINE | Facades
SKYLINE is the NEOLITH® façade line which offers more ef cient
solutions for the most demanding of architectural projects.
The largest Sintered Compact Surface on the market, which enables a
high yield for each piece and reduces completion times thanks to the
large formats available.
NEOLITH® SKYLINE ventilated façades provide continuous insulation
and block direct solar radiation for considerable energy savings.
Resistant to changes in temperature and stains, NEOLITH® is produced
with 100% natural raw materials which also makes it resistant to UV
rays. Characteristics that guarantee the unalterability of the material
with the passing of time.
With extraordinary physical properties, Neolith has become an excellent
material for exterior use also because of its lightness which enables
easy installation.
In addition, it offers a very wide variety of colors and nishes allowing
architects the pleasure of a great amount of aesthetic freedom.
Z APPENDIX | StrongFix System
Mixed hidden pro le system
STRONGFIX is a longitudinal mixed (chemical and mechanical) hidden pro¤ le system which works due to the pressure
created by the system in the rear of a Neolith board.
These tiles are industrially mechanized with a longitudinal pro¤ le on the upper and bottom parts. The STRONGFIX
system enables central mechanizations on the back of a piece for cases where, due to the dimensions of a piece, they
are required on the back of a tile with a double groove and a 45 degree angle (like a dovetail) where two aluminum
pro¤ les are inserted and ¤ xed with MS adhesive putty to secure Neolith tiling.
These metal pro¤ les create the mechanism for hanging tiles with added bene¤ ts as removing and replacing pieces
with this system is very simple.
The system is comprised of vertical aluminum pro¤ les which support squares. With the squares, the aluminum pro¤ les
may be installed in completely © at Ts to correct any possible deviation on a façade which needs to be covered.
The panels are secured by hand to a horizontal pro¤ le with a longitudinal mechanical ¤ xing system comprised of two
aluminum ¤ xing pro¤ les.
This aluminum System becomes indivisible due to the mechanization of the tiling and the use of pro¤ les for ¤ xing as these features eliminate the risk of Neolith boards
separating from the structure in the event of breakage. For this reason, this system is considered to be the most secure available on the market.
Moreover, the way in which Neolith boards hang to the horizontal structure provide the perfect levelling and aesthetic ¤ nish in addition to the possibility of staggering
without needing to increase the number of vertical pro¤ les.
The STRONGFIX System also allows for easy removal and replacement when necessary

Installation:
• Façade staking: aluminum vertical pro¤ les
arrangement and staking, which can be
installed completely independent to the
vertical joints.
• Vertical pro¤ les installation: the vertical
structure is anchored to the wall using
retenciton and supporting brackets and
anchors.
• Horizontal pro¤ les installation: it is needed
to be determined the horizontal pro¤ les
position, in response to horizontal cutting
façade scheme. This structure is anchored
to the vertical structure by 5,5 x 19 cm
drilling screws.
• Neolith cladding installation: it is needed
to start by the bottom of the façade. It is
a façade system very fast to install which
allows to replace the slim tiles if it is
required.
