dibentuklah satu tim perintis sukarelawan yang terdiri dari para

mahasiswa Indonesia untuk melakukan workcamp di komunitas

orang yang pernah mengalami kusta yang ada di Cina.

LCC UI

adalah sebuah komunitas sosial yang peduli terhadap orang yang pernah mengalami kusta dengan mengurangi diskriminasi melalui pencerdasan dan pemberdayaan masyarakat.

• LCC UI dibentuk pada tanggal 14 Februari 2010,

• Misi LCC UI adalah mengurangi diskriminasi pada orang yang pernah mengalami kusta di Indonesia.

Team Building and Gathering

• Activities in the early stage of LCC UI to improve the ability to work

closely together as a team to problem solve.

• Targets: at least twice a year.

• Already heald once at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) at

November 26th, 2011.

Comparative study to another

organization and build partnership

• Activities to learn and create partnership from another

organization to develop LCC UI

• Targets:

– Ministry of Health, Republic of Indonesia

– Netherland Leprosy Relief (NLR)

– World Health Organization (WHO)

– Dompet dhuafa

– Etc.

Create teamwork with another University

• LCC UI focused on workcamp in leprosy village. In Indonesia there are

so many leprosy village that spreading in all over the country.

• To achieve the spreading of workcamp's activity in the leprosy village in

Indonesia, we need to join with students in another university and create

a teamwork.

• Targets:

– Airlangga University in East Java (2012)

– Diponegoro University in Central Java (2013)

– Hasanudin University in South Sulawesi (2014)

– Sumatera Utara University in North Sumatera (2015)

Yearly Confrerence

• A meeting for LCC UI member in consultation and

discussion about leprosy issue and the development of

LCC UI.

• Target:

– It will be held every year

– Starts in 2014

Training Skill

• Activity that held for improving hard and soft skill for LCC

member.

• Target:

– For example: cooking skill, leadership skill, etc.

– The training will be held at least 3 times a year, starts in 2012

Art Workshop

• In workcamp, there will be cultural event to introducing culture from

each country of the campers, such as traditional dance, traditional

clothes, traditional games, etc.

• The purpose is to create affection to the campers own culture, to

share culture from different countries, to enrich knowledge about

different culture, etc.

• Targets:

– It will be held every year

– Starts in 2012

Theatre Performance

• The performance will involved the people affected by leprosy,

university student, and LCC UI members. The purpose is to

improving skills of those who involved and for fund raising

• Targets:

– To make a teamwork with another community or organization that

work in theatre field

– It will be held in 2014

Research

• A Scientific research in leprosy issues in Indonesia.

• Targets:

– At least once a year, start in 2012.

– Create a teamwork with another organization that have the same

interest for research

Media Public Campaign

Create Media Public Campaign and Public Campaign in Radio

• Marketing activity of LCC UI

• Targets:

– To raise the issue of Leprosy in Indonesia

– For sounding in Radio, at least 3 times a year.

– Create a partnership with Radio, such as Dakta Radio,RTC UI, etc.

National Seminar

• New activity of LCC that will be held to raise leprosy issue in the

society, so it can minimize the discrimination. The purpose of this

activity is to create teamwork with another institution that focused in

leprosy, discrimination, and disability, to solve problem together.

• Target:

– 2012 preparation

– 2013 National Seminar

Workcamp

Mini Workcamp

• It’s like a miniature of

workcamp. The purpose

of this activity is to

create bond between

villagers and campers.

• Targets:

– Annual activity that held

by LCC at least once a

year in Leprosy village in

Sitanala Tangerang.

– Already started 3 times

since 2010

Perjusami Program

• Perjusami or Perkemahan Jumat Sabtu

Minggu (mentioned as Friday Saturday

Sunday’s Camp) is the opposite of

workcamp program. In the workcamp,

campers will come to the village but in this

program, the people affected by leprosy will

go out and having camp outside the village

with the campers.

• The purpose of this project is to create

confident to the people affected by leprosy

so they can socialize better with the society

and to inform people about leprosy so it can

minimize discrimination of the people

affected by leprosy.

• Targets: At least once in two years, already

held once in February 25-26th, 2012

• Join Workcamp in

another leprosy village

beyond Indonesia

• Targets:

– China (2013)

– India (2014)

• A survey that held as a

preparatin for big

Big Workcamp

• The annual activity of LCC that held in the leprosy village. Duration

of the workcamp is 1-2 weeks. The activity contains of work, home

visit, culutral event, education program, health promotion, etc.

• The purpose of this activity is to create bond between villagers and

campers.

• Targets:

– It is held every year in Summer time (around August and September)

– Already held two times since 2010 in Nganget Leprosy Village, East

Java.
