Introducing the Little Dragon Glassblowing Furnace!

Designed to be rugged and reliable for years of use and travel. The size and functionality offers excellent flexibility for

use in a variety of possible venues; perform demonstrations and workshops at summer camps, schools, art centers, farmers

markets, private parties or anywhere else you can think of!

The Little Dragon is a furnace/glory hole combo created to make it simple and easy to do on-site demonstrations, taking

only minutes to set up. Fill it up with glass (nuggets, recycled bottles, or any kind of cullet) in the morning & turn it on; it

takes about three to four hours to get to working temp (depending on the quality of glass desired and how much of a hurry

you are in!). Drain the tank at the end of the day and shut it off. Repeat.

The Little Dragon can be configured to run on natural gas, low pressure or high pressure propane. It consumes on

average 0.65 gallons of fuel per hour.

It houses a semi-invested Engineered Ceramics crucible that will hold up to 55+ pounds of molten glass.

The maximum door opening is 9" x 9" (18" d). The door comes standard with 6" radius opening on the right side.

The footprint of the furnace is 31" wide by 34” long (not including detachable accessories), designed to fit

through a standard 32" door opening.

It has an overall height of 4'-8", just short enough to fit in a U-Haul covered trailer (4'-10"opening).

Total weight of the unit is around 600 pounds, yet it rolls quite easily on 8" casters (two stationary, two swivel).

The removable burner system is very straight forward, and comes with variable speed blower, Gibberson burner

tip, and BASO safety valve.

The frame and case are made of powder-coated steel and dragon scale textured stainless steel.

Standard accessories are all detachable for ease of transport. They include a double yoke (fully adjustable), pipe

hanger (for working solo), pipe warming stand, handle.

All hardware needed for operation is included.

2 side ports allow for access to chamber heat, to power a variety of accessory options currently under

development, including annealers, garages, color box/cullet heater, and baking oven to name a few.

Price: $8,500 + applicable sales tax for all orders placed before September 1, 2015. Crating, Shipping/Delivery

and Setup Demonstration are not included in the price.
