WHAT IS COMMUNICATION?

The act of communicating draws on several interpersonal and intrapersonal skills. These include speaking, listening, observing, questioning, processing, analyzing and evaluating. Recipients of a message must be able to identify the sender’s intent, take into account the message’s context, resolve any misunderstandings, accurately decode the information and decide how to act on it. Such skills are essential to learning, forming healthy relationships, creating a sense of community and achieving success in the workplace.

TASKED PROJECT:

Students will have an exciting e-journal project to enhance their ability to communicate through words.

The students will have a community immersion where they will interview barangay officials about community cleaning to make students aware of our environmentally community also they will personally help in the cleaning of that certain place.

They will compile all there work with the pictures and data they need to prove that they have participated in that community out reach.

They will present they e-journal in the class with their reflection of their experience in doing this project.

COMMUNITY IMMERSION

Community immersion is a version of service learning that is more integrated with a student's passions and interests, is longer-term and is related to the on-going development of community and social justice issues.

this will help the students to remember important information for future reference.

as a remembrance to themselves of their achievements that they have done in doing this project as a students.

the readers of the journal will also be encourage to make their own journals probably with the same objectives. This will make readers feel that they too, can also do it!
