INTRODUCTION
• A budget is a quantity expression of a plane for a defined period of time.it may include planned sales volumes and revenues ,assets, liabilities and cash flow.it expresses straegic plans of bussieness units, organisation, activities or events in measurable terms.
• There are four types of budget: marketing budget ,project budget ,revenue budget ,expenditure budget.
• There are five types of budget :
• 1) marketing budget - an estimate of the funds nedded of promotion , advertising and public relation in order to
market the product or services.
• 2) project budget • -a prediction of the costs association with a particular company project.these costs include
labour, materials, and other related expenses . the project budjet is often broken down into specific tasks, with tasks budget assigened to each. a cost estimate is used to establish a project budget .
• 3) revenue budget• -consist of revenue receipts of government and expenditure met from these revenues .tax
revenues are made up taxes and other duties that the government levies .
• 4) expenditure budget• -including data spending.
The Earth's Water Budget• Water covers 70% of the earth's surface, but it is difficult to comprehend
the total amount of water when we only see a small portion of it. The following diagram displays the volumes of water contained on land, in oceans, and in the atmosphere. Arrows indicate the annual exchange of water .
water covers-70% of earths surface
Oceans contains-97.5% of earths water
Land-2.4%
Atmosphere-.001%
Precipitation-30%If these occurs then
every square inch of that state would be
under 0.3 miles of water
• Water use in the world in 2013
- Agriculture -67% - Mining-2% - Manufacturing-4% - Electricity and gas -7% - Water supply-8% - House holds-9% - Other-3%
• Aims and objectives
Based on the average per capita interior water use rates developed and used by the U.S. Housing and Urban Development (HUD).Actual use rates for water fixtures will vary. Some items in the indoor budget could be added to the home after the homeowners move in. Use average water amounts for fixtures that are not in place. This helps the homeowner decide whether to add a fixture or appliance that is more conserving than the average because they can see how it can affect the total.

METHODOLOGY The purpose of the water balance component of this assessment is to characterize the climatic, surface water, and groundwater components of the watershed. The water balance is intended for use as a screening tool to further evaluate water resources allocations within the watershed and to identify water balance components that may require further analysis during the next levels of watershed planning.
Specific known and/or estimated climatic, hydrologic, and hydrogeologic components are required to estimate the quantity of water entering and exiting the WRIA 53 basin. The basin is in a unique watershed, as the Columbia River bisects the watershed, effectively creating a northern and southern watershed. The values estimated for the water balance are only focused on the southern portion of the watershed, that area south of the Columbia River.
conclusionThe goal of the water budget is to show the homeowner how much water is used in the house. The flow rates of the fixtures and the appliances provided by the builder (i.e. commodes, faucets, showerheads, dishwashers)
