What is a symbol in Flash?

A library item that can be replicatedMore than 1 symbol can exist in any keyframe at the

same time.The three kinds of symbols are Graphic Symbols,

Buttons, and Movie ClipsGraphic Symbols contain only artwork and have no

animations insideButton Symbols are where you attach scripting

commands to produce interactivityMovie clip symbols contain animations

Replicating Symbols

Motion Tweens

The object being moved must be a symbol.Click the keyframe in the timeline first to orient

the Property Inspector to frame-related commands.

Select “Motion” in the tween window of the Property Inspector.

Insert a keyframe in the timeline several frames ahead of the original keyframe.

Move the object on the stage to its destination.
