Programming examples for 6 seamless bends. !Line1: G01 L200 R40 T90 P90 F25 E25 LIne2: R130 T90 P90 Line3: R40 T90 P180 Line4: R40 T90 P180 Line5: R130 T90 P90 Line6: R40 T90 P90 Line7: M02 !G01 means starting normal operation, L200 means a 200mm straight length, R40 means a 40mm bending radius, T90 means a 90 degrees bending angle, P90 means a bending direction and, F and E mean moving speeds of the die. M02 means the end of the bending operation.

1) Applicable tube materials?!   Basically, applicable tube should be made of steel, stainless, ! or aluminium. !  (In JIS standards: STKM, SGP, SUS304, SUS316, A5052, A6063.)!!2) Min. bending radius?!   3 * O.D (Please refer to the figure.)!   ex. in case of φ25 tube  3DR is 3 * 25 ! = 75R is the min. bending diameter.!!3)Max. bendinding radius! No limit. But under 30DR is recommended for accuracy control.!!4) Thickness of tube?!   In general, the thickness should be within 5~10% of the tube ! outside diameter, for safety.!!5) Can I bend round bar?!   No, you can not.!   NPB can bend only tubular metal made of steel, stainless steel,! and/or aluminium.!!5) Oval shaped, or other non-circular shaped tube applicable?!  No, you can not.!!6) How about repeatability?!  In general, within ±1 degree (per bend), but it depends on the! tubes' specific attributes. Trial bending is required with the material ! tubes available in your market. Our reference specification is JIS.!!

Frequently asked questions7) How about bending speed?!  In general 100mm/sec. for both NPB-030M and NPB040M, and ! 50mm/sec. for NPB-050M. Please refer to the demo movie on ! Youtube.!!8) Programming easy?! Very easy.! Please refer to the previous page for sample program code.!!!!!!!!!9) What is the dies materials?! A special sort of wear-resistant ceramic.!!10) Approx. lifetime of dies?! In general, approx. 200km in material length but it depends on ! the quality of tube materials and how hard you bend it.!!11) Easy dies change?! For a normal operator, it would take just 20 - 30 min.! If the O.D. remains the same, you do not have to change anything.!! Very easy comparing with the conventional type of tube bender ! which requires time-consuming dies change.
