Is an international not-for-profit organization with a mission to empower civil society through capacity building, exchange and sharing of knowledge.

We work in close cooperation with Southern civil society and other stakeholders, thus creating and protecting sustainable communities and societies worldwide.

Our goal is to promote fair and equitable sustainable development for all and with respect to the limits of our common ecological and social capital.

ANPED covers the UNECE-region:

The Tarragona Centre for Environmental Law Studies (CEDAT) (www.cedat.cat) brings together researchers from the URV and other Spanish universities (research group recognized by the Government of Catalonia).EDUCATION: Master's Degree in Environmental Law.RESEARCH:

• Environmental law and liberalization of services in the internal market.• Intragenerational dimension of environmental justice as the social aspect

of sustainable development.• Human Rights in Latin America: indigenous peoples, cultural diversity

and environmental justice in the Constitutions of Ecuador and Bolivia.• Catalan Journal of Environmental Law (www.rcda.cat).

TRANSFER OF KNOWLEDGE:• Consultancy contracts with local governments regarding environmental

Our present campaign •Public discussions, workshops, conferences, showing videos, having information stands at different events, being media present, producing pamphlets, speaking to learners and students•Brochure informing on uranium mining•Part of the implementing team of the Strategic Environmental Management Plan •Reach the relevant politicians •Submitted a paper on environmental and social policies.
