Components of Taught Material
• A ‘Core Text’ that reflects the chapters of the INVENT Project Handbook
• Each chapter of the Handbook has been adapted to form a section of the Core Text
• Each section has ‘Learning Outcomes’ and ‘Self Assessment Questions’ that are designed to be completed by the course participants prior to continuing to the next section
• A set of formal assessments at the end of the course comprising of a ‘Summary and Suggestions’ section and a ‘Tutor Marked Assessment’

Components of Taught Material
The chapters of the INVENT Project Handbook and Core Text are:
1) Integrated waste management
2) Framework conditions for waste management in Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand
3) Waste quantities and characteristics
4) Waste collection and storage
5) Waste processing, treatment and recycling
6) Waste disposal
7) Economic and socio-economic aspects of waste management

Each chapter will be delivered in the form of a PowerPoint presentation
The ‘Learning Outcomes’ and ‘Self Assessment Questions’ are included at the beginning and end of the Presentations
