If you thought in the design of cell phones all was said, forget it. Beyond the elegance of the current devices, new developments were taking place, indicating that the future of mobile computing and smartphone technologies could be quite flat and slim phones of today seem unwieldy giant.

According to Roel Vertegaal creator, director of the University of Queen's Human Media Lab, the PaperPhone - yes, that's his real name - is a "pocket computer, so thin and flexible as a sheet of paper.

The PaperPhone is described as "a flexible version of electronic ink screen withdigital ink e-readers like the Amazon Kindle."The creators of the PaperPhone, however have said that the general mass marketintroduction of this device, is likely to take about a decade or longer.
