The porifera are aquatic animals that they can filter water with two little holes that are called osculums.

Cnidaria are invertebrates that present tentacles with stinging cells.
Cnidaria are divided in 2 groups: The jellyfishes and polyps.

They have stinging cells in their tentacles they also have an umbrella form in their bodies

They live in colonies and they present stinging cells. Their body form is like a sack

Annelids are aquatic and land animals. They are divided in 3 groups. The Polychaetes, the Tubifids worms and the Hirudineans.
They can present setae and clitel.

Polychaetes are annelids with setae

The molluscs have got a soft body and are protected by a shell. They are divided in 3 groups: gastropods, cephalopods and bivalves
![Page 13: Invertebrates presentation](https://reader035.vdocuments.net/reader035/viewer/2022081717/54bdf3794a795946588b4597/html5/thumbnails/13.jpg)
The gastrophods have a prominent head and a highly developed shell
![Page 14: Invertebrates presentation](https://reader035.vdocuments.net/reader035/viewer/2022081717/54bdf3794a795946588b4597/html5/thumbnails/14.jpg)
The cephalopods have the head and feet highly developed
![Page 15: Invertebrates presentation](https://reader035.vdocuments.net/reader035/viewer/2022081717/54bdf3794a795946588b4597/html5/thumbnails/15.jpg)
Bivalves have got two valves

The arthropods are terrestrial and aquatic animals. They are divided in 4 groups: crustaceans, myriapods, arachnids and insects.

Their body is generally divided into three parts: head, thorax and abdomen.

They have two antennae and two jaws and the four maxillary
