    Investing in Stock Market

    From Pesos and Sense Episode

    Episode 3 Insurance

    Insurance is important for securityreasons.

Example: If you die and you have realproperty left before your heir can have it

you must pay for the 20% Estate Tax.

Estate Tax is a tax on the right of thedeceased person to transmit his/her

estate to his/her lawful heirs and

beneficiaries at the time of death.

Legal Question: what will happen when

the testator failed to pay the Estate Taxbut he executed power of attorney in the

distribution of his property to his heir.

VUL- variable unit linked is a type oflife insurance that builds a cash value. is

a type oflife insurance that builds a cash

The 'variable' component in the namerefers to this ability to invest in separateaccounts whose values varythey vary

because they are invested in stock and/or

bond markets. The 'universal' componentin the name refers to the flexibility the

    owner has in making premium

    payments.

    Understanding Technical Analysis

    Study of Movement Analysis

Bulliiish Market- A bull market isassociated with increasing investor

    confidence, and increased investing in

    anticipation of future price increases

(capital gains). A bullish trend in the

stock market often begins before the

general economy shows clear signs of

    recovery.

Bearish Market- A bear market is ageneral decline in the stock market over

a period of time. It is a transition from

high investor optimism to widespreadinvestor fear and pessimism.

    Cost-Averaging Investment- which is

simply investing equal monetaryamounts regularly on a particular stock

    over a period of time.

    Questions?

    1. Does EIP Program needs to closelymonitor the stock market at all times?

Note: intention to reduce market risks.

    2. Can I join Cost averaging and at thesame time another way of investing

which I monitor my own stock.

    3. Can I change the amount of my

investment anytime? Example I sign upfor regular investment every month forthe amount of P2,000 but I have extra

earning on one particular month can I

increase my regular investment on thatmonth and on the following month back

    to P2,000.
