Superior Structural Support More Window

The InVision Model 8800 has a narrow design for more glass, ventilation and light. The jamb and sash projections are expanded slightly toward the exterior which provide extreme thermal and structural integrity. This allows a Design Pressure rating of DP50, meaning the InVision double hung window has exceeded testing at wind driven rain speeds of 140 mph without additional reinforcement.

InDuraClean Glass Sealing Clean Room:• Air entering the clean room is filtered to remove dust and other pollutants, keeping the washed glass exceptionally clean. Technicians wear specialized gloves and surgical masks to prevent finger print contamination of the insulated glass units.• Positive pressurization forces filtered air from the clean room, eliminating potentially dusty regular plant air from entering. • Climate controlled for optimal air temperature application of DuraLite insulating glass spacer while keeping technicians cool and comfortable.• Air is dehumidified to assure the perfect humidity levels, providing the best insulated glass seal possible.

Internal grids enhance your InVision Model 8800 windows and provide the look and feel of divided lite windows without the hassle! Because they’re between glass panes, these grids allow for easy window cleaning. Beautiful grids are available in both contoured and flat designs in several distinctive patterns.

Interstate also offers Simulated Divided Lites (SDLs) which are permanently adhered to the glass pane surfaces inside and out and are designed to look like a true multi-paned window.

Interstate History

The Beginning: In 1938, Joseph Pupa Sr. founded Interstate Home Improvement Company in Wilkes-Barre, PA, and began providing quality building materials to Northeast Pennsylvania. He believed that superior customer service and employee values should be the focus for building his company’s reputation. With the strength built on those values, he passed the torch to his son, Joseph Pupa, Jr. who then passed it to his son, Joseph Pupa III.

In 1986 Interstate donated vinyl windows to the Statue of Liberty restoration project. We continually stay above the curve in manufacturing technology and are a proven company that manufactures products engineered to last.

Building a Solid Company: Friends for over 50 years, Interstate’s President, Joseph Pupa III and Interstate’s Vice President, Donald Montini worked together to build a window manufacturing company. Interstate Window & Door Co. began in 1983. We were the first window company to launch a vinyl window for the new construction market, and the first to offer a snap-on j-channel. In 2008 Interstate launched our exclusive CompositWood® window line, and now, in 2016, a new line of energy optimized vinyl windows delivering the best energy performance, structural performance, innovative design and high efficiency - the InVision Model 8800 window.
