Caves Beach is located an hour north of Sydney along the M1 and a 40 minute drive from Newcastle, making it easily accessible from both Sydney and Newcastle airports.

Driving is the easiest option to reach beautiful Lake Macquarie. If you are approaching Lake Macquarie from the south, follow the M1 freeway from Sydney and take the Budgewoi Swansea Charlestown exit. If you are entering the City from the north, follow the Pacific Highway south towards Caves Beach.

Newcastle Airport is approximately 60 minutes from the conference venue. Direct flights are available to Newcastle Airport from most Australian capital cities. From there you can hire a car or shuttle bus. If you require shuttle transport from Newcastle Airport, please email lgnswproperty@lakemac.nsw.gov.au in advance with details of your flight including arrival times, as we are currently investigating shuttle transport options from this airport.
