Having run her own made-to-measure design wearbusiness in the 90s where she had much mediacoverage including BBC’s Clothes Show, as well ashaving taught fashion & design at various colleges,she now focuses entirely on her painting work.Her love of travel and passion for dance is continuingto inspire her to create her wonderful paintings anddrawings to illustrate the movement of Flamenco andLatin American dance, and of scenes from Ugandawhich she frequently visits.She developed the paintings in mixed mediums usingoil, acrylic, pastels, charcoal, and sometimescombinations of these.
arshinder was born in Mbarara,Uganda, and came to England at avery young age as her family fledthe Amin regime. Harshinder has along history within the fields offashion, art, and design.
