Harshinder Invites you and a guest to an exhibition of her paintings Exhibition Sunday 6th - Saturday 19th March 2011 Daily, 10am – 4pm The paintings in the exhibition are available for sale 10% donated to “Hop, Skip & Jump” The Parlour, College Green, Bristol (bottom of Park Street) Having run her own made-to-measure design wear business in the 90s where she had much media coverage including BBC’s Clothes Show, as well as having taught fashion & design at various colleges, she now focuses entirely on her painting work. Her love of travel and passion for dance is continuing to inspire her to create her wonderful paintings and drawings to illustrate the movement of Flamenco and Latin American dance, and of scenes from Uganda which she frequently visits. She developed the paintings in mixed mediums using oil, acrylic, pastels, charcoal, and sometimes combinations of these. arshinder was born in Mbarara, Uganda, and came to England at a very young age as her family fled the Amin regime.
