WHO WE AREQUALITY PRODUCTS CRAFTED IN THE U.S.A.Iowa Rotocast Plastics is a manufacturer of premier merchandising products catering to an array of customers, including Fortune 500 companies such as Anheuser-Busch, MillerCoors, PepsiCo/Gatorade, Coca-Cola, Constellation Brands, Nestlé Waters, and many more. IRP has become synonymous with words such as Quality, Customer Satisfaction, Reliability, and Value. IRP products have unparalleled craftsmanship because each and every product sold to their customers is manufactured in one of their two plants, both located in Northeast Iowa, heartland of America.

The IRP family of brands is divided into three main divisions:

1. RotoTough products including ice merchandising solutions, wire racks, case stackers, and electronic refrigeration.2. A premium outdoor cooler line DBA Grizzly Coolers.3. An innovative solution division that specializes in fabricated food & beverage equipment for on/off premise. IRP has significant

experience in the design and fabrication of carts and kiosks in over a 200 different professional or collegiate sports venues. IRP carts can be designed with a combination of food & beverage serving options, or as mobile retail or POS stations.

Given the caliber of the products produced and the phenomenal growth of the company, it’s easy for IRP’s humble grassroots beginning to get overlooked. What is now known as IRP was originally the “Super Cooler” company. Owners Floyd & Susan Mount founded the company in 1983 and set up production in a pole-shed constructed on the Mount’s home property. In fact, the first Super Coolers were produced on an oven that Floyd and an employee constructed themselves.

In 1986 the company changed its name to Iowa Rotocast Plastics to better reflect their continually expanding product offerings, and in 1987 production was moved to a larger facility in Decorah, IA. Since it’s inception 32 years ago, IRP has had three relocations and numerous expansions due to growth. The current IRP manufacturing plant based in Decorah is now over 200,000 square feet, with production running 24 hours a day, five days a week. In 2014 IRP’s Fabrication Division completed a 40,000 square feet expansion to increase custom fabricated capabilities.

IRP Product Displays are available in durable plastic or metal, depending on your needs and footprint. The IRP Wire Racks are an attractive solution to displaying bulk product quantities without sacrifi cing excessive fl oor space.

All of the fl oor racks are black powder-coated steel and offer multiple branding opportunities with interchangeable graphic panels and header. Floor racks (excluding the Mini) come standard with quality casters for ease of mobility.

IRP’s hanging racks are a great solution with a dual purpose: maximizing space in your C-Store’s refrigeration section while promoting your brands. They work equally well for new product roll-outs and seasonal beverage offerings.

The Case-stackers by IRP are an indestructible and attractive eco-friendly alternative to pallets. Made of extremely durable plastic that is shatter-proof, crack-proof, and easy to clean. FABRICATIONCUSTOM UNITS TO FIT YOUR NEEDSIRP has signifi cant experience in the design and fabrication of carts and kiosks in over 200 different professional or collegiate sports venues, 102 of which have seating capacity over 15,000.

IRP typically collaborates with the concessionaire at each of these locations to provide new kiosk solutions on an on-going basis, based on year over year needs. IRP carts and kiosks can be created to your exact specifi cations, no cart is too big or too small. One of IRP’s largest projects to date was over 20 feet in length. IRP carts can be designed with a combination of food & beverage serving options, or as mobile Retail or POS Stations.

IRP’s entire process is streamlined because all elements of design and production are kept in-house, allowing maximum effi ciency and quality control. This means all projects ship straight from the facility where they are designed and fabricated.

Why does this matter? Because it allows IRP to have complete control over your product, from start to fi nish. Quality Control Technicians handle every aspect of prepping for shipping including wrapping, packing, and crating. In addition, The assigned Project Managers will ensure your project doesn’t leave the IRP facility until it is absolutely perfect.

IRP’s Fabrication Division recently completed a 40,000 square feet addition, which has resulted in an increase in fabricated production capabilities by over 3,100 units in the last 18 months. This equals a 165% increase in custom projects from 2013 to 2015.

IRP’s explosive growth in this sector is due in part to their innovative designs, superior products, as well as their ability to meet crucial project deadlines. The current IRP manufacturing plant based in Decorah is now over 200,000 square feet, with production running 24 hours a day, fi ve days a week.
