Video Softphone The ITS Video Softphone feature turns any computer into a fully functional telephone. Using a headset or microphone and speaker, you can make and receive phone calls over the internet right from your computer.

Our Softphone is a Windows-based application that allows you to turn your computer into a VoIP device and serve as a globally mobile VoIP phone. While the Video Softphone or VSP specializes in video calls, it also can be used for regular voice only phone calls, with no video. Calls to your VoIP phone number will ring on your computer when the Softphone application is running, and you will be able to place calls whenever and wherever you have access to a broadband internet connection. The VSP provides a variety of speed options which allow you to effectively communicate on comput-ers of any speed. Speeds vary from Low to Ultra-High for dial-up to faster CPU users respectively.

In addition to allowing the user to place video and non- video phone calls using a computer, the VSP offers a number of additional features. These include:

• Hold - Place a call on hold.• Redial - Call the last number you dialed.• Multiple Lines - Have multiple calls at one time with “line button’s” showing which line is active and allowing you to select the desired line.• Call List - Detailed list of each call including its status (dialed, received, missed), the number, and the date and time of the call. • VoIP Control Panel - Allows you to alter VoIP settings, review your call records, change your password, as well as many other things. • Switch Handset/Speakerphone - Allows you to switch between handset and speakerphone with the two sets of audio devices configured on in installation.• Call Transfer - Transfer a call to another number.• Attended Call Transfer - Allows you to announce a call prior to transfering it to another number.
