It is not self-evident that inventions are used in new products and processes. Often, inno-vative solutions only succeed with profession- al and competent guidance. Protecting the intellectual property (IP) rights of promising results from research and development (R&D) is a crucial factor for success. If intellectual property rights are not protected, competitors can commercially market innovations – without investing in their own R&D efforts. Intellectual property rights such as patents, utility models, designs and trademarks secure intellectual property and place innovations in a strong position at the market.

Since 2002, PROvendis has been active as a service provider in technology transfer and IP management for universities, university hospitals, research institutions, companies and start-ups. As a link between science and industry, we analyze and evaluate research and development results with the aim of secur-ing new intellectual property and using it in a revenue-oriented manner. Together with our clients, we develop and implement individ- ual property rights and marketing strategies.

we have been evaluating new inventions and research find- ings to generate commercially viable options for securing

customers and partners as well as the creation of innovative start-ups.

Raising awareness of IP protection is an impor-tant cornerstone for shared success. With our numerous advanced training courses and in-house seminars for employees from universi-ties, research institutes and companies, we promote this awareness on a sustained basis and disseminate know-how in the professio-nal handling of IP.
