Pateres series are manually operated metallic gas ball valves.

The valves can not be dismantle, avoiding tampering of components in contact with gas, and have blockage and sealing systems. Pateres series are intended to be installed in gas network as in-line angle valves, its purpose is to open and close the gas flow between two network areas. Its maneuver is performance by a Push and Turn operation.

Pateres valves are designed to be used in domestic and commercial applications, where the valves are not required to be directly buried or embedded, inside or outside the building. Pateres valves are intended to work with 1st , 2nd and 3rd gases families (according to EN 437).

(1)The valve can just be installed just with its PATER (Watch it in DIMENSIONS).

External leaktightness in the stem area is guaranteed by the mean of two NBR o-rings, with a special composition for gas, directly assembled to the stem.

BOILER & GLP Valves

External leaktightness in the stem area is guaranteed by the mean of a NBR o-ring with, a special composition for gas, directly assembled to the stem.

In both cases the leaktightness with the Pater is assured by means of two NBR o-rings placed 1n the connection.

OPERATION

PATERES valves have, additionally to the ¼ turn, an Auto-blockage function; this system block the valve at closed position avoiding any accidental opening.

1 Push the handle.

2 Turn the handle in a counterclockwise direction to open the valve.

TEST & CERTIFICATIONS

INSTALATION AND ASSEMBLY

INSTALATION

IMPORTANT: The valve can only be installed with its pertinent Pater.

Connect the valve to the device or network using the appropriate leaktightness mediums (not supplied with the valve).

Hold the valve through one of its edges, but never through the central part of the valve´s neck in other to avoid damage it.

Carry out the corresponding leaktightness tests before the network or device commissioning implementation.

WORKING MODES

Open: turn the handle in counterclockwise.

Close: turn the handle in counterclockwise.

Never keep the handle working in intermediate open or close positions. These valves are not intended for regulation and working in this way can decrease rapidly the valve life span.

MAINTENANCE

No maintenance is required, but it is recommended to performance a full open close maneuver every 6 month.
