From July 13 through July 30, prize-winning young musicians from around the globe will give 16 concerts in prestigious venues throughout the Greater Los Angeles, San Diego and Orange Counties. The Grand Finale performance at the Music Center’s Walt Disney Concert Hall on July 29, reviewed as “the highlight of the summer [in Los Angeles]” will include a Gala Dinner. Presented by iPalpiti Artists International, twenty-three select international laureates from 17 countries such as Ecuador, Turkey, Finland, Italy, Japan, Israel and more will arrive for its annual festival. Under the direction of Maestro Eduard Schmieder, this acclaimed ensemble of soloists, often referred to as the “United Nations of Classical Music” will perform rare and popular works from the Classic, Romantic, and Modern repertoire, and as orchestra will feature MAJESTIC CLASSICS programs of Schubert, Mozart, and Beethoven. Since its inception as a non-profit in Los Angeles in 1997 by Russian émigré musicians Eduard and Laura Schmieder, with the blessing and support of the late great violinist Lord Yehudi Menuhin, iPalpiti has been supporting, promoting and developing the careers of exceptional, young professional classical musicians. Local outreach programs include Student Coalition for the Arts and Mentor Program, this season 300+ local schools’ 5-12 th graders. “Classical music is the spiritual factor which brings people together and unites them irrespective of religion and culture, appealing to sublime senses,” stated Maestro Schmieder. In a spirit of giving to the community, iPalpiti ensures a good proportion of its Festival performances are free to the public, and for paid performances gives a significant number of tickets (over 600) to under-served community organizations, shelters, youth music programs, public schools, and non-profit agencies serving economically disadvantaged and special needs groups. iPalpiti Festival’s Pulse of Music Beats Strong in its 20th

Season

LOS ANGELES, CA, (April 27, 2017) – The “world-class” iPalpiti Festival celebrates its 20

th anniversary season.

From July 13 through July 30, prize-winning young musicians from around the globe will give 16 concerts in

prestigious venues throughout the Greater Los Angeles, San Diego and Orange Counties. The Grand Finale

performance at the Music Center’s Walt Disney Concert Hall on July 29, reviewed as “the highlight of the summer

Presented by iPalpiti Artists International, twenty-three select international laureates from 17 countries such as
