It is a consumer magazine and digital publisher in the United Kingdom, with a large portfolio selling over 350 million copies each year. IPC is an extremely well established company, which would make it an appropriate publisher for a new music magazine; it will also attract its loyal customers from its extremely wide audience, which would guarantee a successful magazine.It could publish various genres of music due to its wide range in audience this opens up the market when publishing a magazine because no one genre has a specific age of audience, therefore they could publish any kind of magazine they choose and make the content relatable to what ever target audience they choose.Alternative publishers like Bauer however maybe more appropriate for publishing a music magazine as they’re more loyal to the music industry for example they also publish radio stations so would be very knowledgeable about the industry and would also get the attention of their dedicated fans.
