Emerson's new 6.2 version of the Dixell iProRACK for transcritical rack systems features even more advanced, efficient and flexible performances. It provides eco-sustainability, energy efficiency and integration in the refrigeration, heating and air conditioning segments.

Integration with the XeCO2 system, for optimized management of CO2 plants with overfeed evaporators, and the introduction of new algorithms to increase the security level such as the Compressor Guard function make the iProRACK family the ideal solution for every weather condition, now also for warm climates.



1. Architecture The iProRACK family is even more complete and is composed of controllers, expansions, and valve driver. It provides a complete integration with Inverter, fans, compressors, monitoring and supervisor systems of the XWEB family.

2. Application scheme The iProRACK 6.2 version manages the MT line and the LT line with CO2 refrigerant with booster configuration, dual heat recovery, gas cooler bypass, de-superheater and parallel compression.

3.1 Liquid receiver dynamic set

The correct pressure of the liquid receiver is guaranteed by the gas flash valve opening and by the possible parallel compressor activation. The pressure set of the receiver changes depending on the compressor status in the medium temperature line; in this way the energy consumption of the plant decreases due to a shorter flash gas valve opening time. 3.2 Liquid and vapour ejector management

Compatibility with ejector management (the latest market trend) in order to increase the transcritical plant energy efficiency. This solution is optimal even in warm climate. 3.3 XeCO2

Integrated system composed of XM600 r.5.4 for refrigerated cabinets, iProRACK for racks and XWEB-Pro as supervisor system, works in conjunction with overfeed evaporators thanks to floating management of the superheat and to management of the suction liquid receiver level in the medium temperature line.

3.4 Compressors Guard

The “Compressors Guard” function ensures compressor protection against flood infiltration. If the compressors cannot be switched ON because they are blocked due to safety times or for active alarms, the system temporarily blocks the liquid injection to the evaporators until the compressors become available again.
