IQRA’ ASIA comprises of a team of passionate and dedicated individuals bound by a

fundamental vision - encouraging excellence in Islamic education, through providing quality

In 2012, IQRA’ ASIA PTE LTD was appointed the exclusive authorized distributor within the

ASEAN region by IQRA International Educational Foundation , a non-profit organization

established in USA since 1983.

IQRA Foundation has long been recognized as leaders in Islamic education. IQRA was the

first to take up the challenge of providing our Muslim youth with professionally designed

Islamic Studies curricula and educational materials. With a legacy of excellence and

devotion, IQRA Foundation has nurtured the iman of now several generations with its

comprehensive, systematic and integrated program of Islamic studies – from pre-schoolers

to youth / adults

IQRA’ Program of Islamic Studies

IQRA’s program comprehensively embraces all the elements that have been traditionally

labelled “Islamic Studies”. IQRA’s curriculum encompasses a study of the Qur’an, Aqidah,

Fiqh, Sirah, ‘Ulum ul-Hadith, Islamic History and Arabic Language. For each subject, IQRA’s

team of professionally trained educators have initially developed the philosophy and goals

(behavioural, cognitive etc) and then translated these into the syllabi, textbooks and

workbooks. These goals and objectives are further explained through Teachers’ Guides

(available for some subjects) which assists the teachers in delivering the lesson effectively to

their students.

IQRA follows the same standards of national curricula where each subject (Maths, English

and Science) comprises of separate textbooks. It is not feasible to combine such subjects in

one book and still achieve a comprehensive nature of the subject. If this compromise is not

advisable for national school subjects, even more so, this compromise must not be made

when teaching Islamic studies.


Benefits of IQRA’s Program of Islamic Studies

Who are the people who would benefit from IQRA’s program of Islamic studies? The

unanimous answer would be - both parents and the children. Parents would have the peace

of mind knowing that their children are learning Islamic curricula that:

- is comprehensive,

- has been tested and improved over several generations,

- incorporates religiously sound concepts using the Qur’an and Hadith,

- intertwines tarbiyah components which guides students to put teachings into practise

- is age appropriate so that the student finds the concepts interesting and relevant

- develops critical thinking skills etc.

Parents are encouraged to read some of the books for their own knowledge, e.g. the Mercy

of Mankind Series teaches the major events in the life of Rasullullah s.a.w. in a simple and

engaging manner which makes it easier for them to relate the lessons learnt to events in

their children’s lives.

Youths and adults can also tremendously benefits from IQRA’s publications even if they are

not going through the school series. Books such as the Stories of the Sahabah, the History of

Muslim Civilization, Qur’anic Language Made Easy, Islamic Tahdhib and Akhlaq, Scholars of

and their pricing. InshaAllah, soon you will also be able to view the sample contents of

each book (in process).

2. Select the books and email to us at [email protected] the list of the titles you are

interested in purchasing.

3. InshaAllah we will revert soon with a quote for all the titles. This also enables us to

inform you of any on-going promotions.

4. Once you confirm the order, we will then either send the books to you by post or

delivery.

5. Local delivery charges (i.e. within Singapore) will be absorbed for orders above the

SGD60. For other deliveries, the delivery charges will be at cost (i.e. through Singpost,

Speedpost etc).

6. Payment can be made through bank transfers. The details will be provided in the invoice.
