CA Spring Break in Ireland
The Emerald
IsleIreland’s beautiful
scenery, friendly
people, and rich
history appeals to
us all. It is truly
breathtaking to see
it firsthand, and
that is what you will
be a part of during
this year’s Spring
Break Trip. We
welcome all
students in grades
9-12, their parents,
and CA faculty to
join us!
Mrs. Amanda Pitt is a CA graduate and has been teaching English, Drama, and Debate classes here for the past 5 years. She is married and her son is almost to his first birthday. Mrs. Pitt has traveled to Ireland before, also England and France. She has also been on two senior trips as a chaperone.
Mrs. Erica Coleman is a CA graduate and is beginning her second year as an English teacher. She is married, her daughter attends CA and is in the 3rd grade. Mrs. Coleman has chaperoned many CA field trips and has traveled within the U.S.
Meet The Chaperones
We will travel with EF Tours, a company that CA has used for over a decade.
Our travel dates are March 25- April 2, 2011. That’s 7 nights.
The cost for the trip varies with the number of people going. The more that go, the lower the cost.
In our custom itinerary (created by Mrs. Pitt and EF Tours), there is time to relax and enjoy the trip, not just speed through everything. You can truly feel immersed in Irish culture, not rushed from one stop to the next.
We are staying in “superior”class hotels and each room has its own bathroom.
Trip Details
The tour will begin in Galway. We will tour this quaint city and take excursions to Connemara and the enchanting Kylemore Abbey.
The Aran Islands and the Cliffs of Moher
Blarney Castle and Waterford Crystal
We end our tour in Dublin. We will take in the literary and cultural sites within Dublin, with excursions to Wicklow and Glendalough.
Dublin
How much does it cost per student*?The price fluctuates with enrollment. For example, if
there are 15 people going the total cost is $2500. If there are 30 people going, the cost is $2200. So it will be somewhere between $22oo and $2600.
There are monthly payments that can be set up through the EF Tours website.
Included in the fee is airfare, hotels (3 nights Dublin, 3 nights Galway, 1 night Cork), daily breakfast and dinner, all tours and excursions
You will need money for lunch or snacks daily, souvenirs, any transportation during free time, and any tips or gratuities.
*Adult fees are $2500- $2900
Please join us for the trip of a lifetime!
