Improving IT Skills– Around 1,000 ACS Staff signed-up for ECDL– Over 2,000 modules passed (av 90% score)– Currently ACS taking 300 modules/month– Next – Expand range of topics – CSF also exploring benefits

Infrastructure – the Digital Pen– Corporate Approach – in ACS initially– 3 Stages – standalone, link to IRIS, wide deployment– Currently working on early stages of the project with Serco

ACS ProgressCore IRIS Roll-Out• On schedule for March completion• IRIS live in 6 (of 7) Learning Disability Teams, 2 (of 4) EPD Teams• Around 350 ACS operational users across 20 sites

CareNotes Interface• Tendering process complete – target “live” date of April 06

eSAP Interface• Some delays – focus diverted to Finance BPR

Finance BPR• Abacus “middleware system” essential to BPR• On schedule for planned April go live

CSF ProgressCore IRIS Roll-Out• Child Protection – November• Looked After Children – May• Significant updates to support “Growth & Change”• All modules now “live”

Integrated Children’s System (ICS)• Next major system development for CSF to meet new government

requirements – procurement underway (NB will enhance rather than replace IRIS)

• Target for “go live” is October 06• Funded by government grant specifically for ICS
